The South of France… do I need to say more? Beautiful beaches and delicious food!
wHY YOU SHOULD VISIT the south of france:
food
Some people say the food isn’t very good in France… but after visiting the South of France, I strongly disagree! Some of my favorite meals I have had in Europe were in the South of France, specifically in the town of Nice. There was a wide variety of different foods to try so make sure you try a lot of restaurants when you visit.
The absolute best restaurant in Nice, France that I went to was called The Rossettisserie. It was in an old house and the menu was super small and simple. I loved the chicken and mashed potatoes (it was absolutely delicious!) You must go when visiting the South of France.
BEaches
If you want a relaxing but upscale beach experience, this is your place! The beach in Nice, France was surprisingly clear water and a nice place to sit and relax.
Another perk about the beaches in Nice are that there are plenty of restaruants and bars on or near them so you don’t have to go far for food and drinks!
BEST TIME OF YEAR TO VISIT:
Wondering what the best time of the year to visit the South of France is? I got you!
June to September: although these summer months are some of the busiest, the weather will be the best and the ocean will be the warmest. When I went, the weather definetely through a wrench in a lot of plans, so that’s why I suggest going when there is definetely going to be better and more consistent weather.
I visited at the beginning of March and it was, unfortunately, raining and cold the whole time. However, that didn’t stop me from having a great time!
